So I asked all my nieces (or their mothers if the girls were too young to answer) what their favorite colors were. The only one I didn't ask was the owner of the Fields of Flowers quilt because I already knew it would be for her.
The bold braid quilt is for her sister that is about 3 years younger than her. This next quilt is for their sister that will be 13 in March.
I know the color schemes are the same, but they said they like the same colors. The 2 pieces that look bright pink are actually purple and similar to the purple at the bottom of the middle block.

While I contemplate the backing for each of them I have decided to use some of each quilt on the other one's quilt. The color schemes are the same, and it will mean a little more for the girls to know they each share part of their quilt with their sister....heck, I might throw in some of the fabric from their oldest sister's quilt....
Stay tuned for the completed quilts....or my next quilt top...which ever comes first!
